Old Bread at The B.K. Lounge: Part 2If you read our first article on old bread or if you receive the Lounge Lizard and read the recipe for Meat Loaf, you know that old bread has a purpose, and a very simple and yummy purpose. And old bread at the B.K. Lounge has balls, or should I say meat balls. Meatballs are easy to make and can be adapted into a variety of cuisine's. Lets start. Meatballs: Mix all this together in a bowl. And make meat balls that are a little bigger than a golf ball. Bake on a cookie sheet in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 18 minutes. While the meat balls are cooking start your noodles. And start making a sauce. Below are three to choose from and since meatballs are traditionally served with spaghetti sauce you will not find it here. That would be boring. We will show you Sweet and Sour Cranberry Sauce, Chipotle Sauce and a Polynesian Sauce. Sweet and Sour Cranberry
Sauce Mix together in a sauce pan and heat until sauce like. Chipotle Sauce Mix together in a sauce pan and heat until sauce like. Polynesian Sauce Mix everything except pineapple chunks and red bell pepper together in a sauce pan and heat until the sauce thickens. Then add the pineapple chunks and red bell pepper. Serve any of these sauces over your meatballs with some pasta and enjoy. We hope you enjoy your new found knowledge of old bread and if you have any other ideas we would love to hear about it.
