Lounge Cocktail:

Wild Irish Rose
I have never actually made this drink but I figured I should have at least one Irish reference in the March edition.

1 ounce Lime juice
1 ounce Grenadine
1 ounce Bushmill's
7 ounces Gingerale

Mix and pour over ice. Top with ginger ale in a 12 oz glass.

Rules:

The B.K. Lounge Grill: Yum Then Some

The recipe below is from The B.K. Lounge Laboratory. It was originally called Wednesday Beef but then we ate it and thought it was better than that. Also we where making it on Thursday and Monday and sometimes during the weekend. Anyway, Here you go.

1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 lb. skirt steak, cut into strips
1 Tablespoon salt
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 medium onion, diced medium
1/2 red bell pepper, diced same as onion
*3 Chipotle peppers, cut into thin strips, really thin

 

Toss meat in salt, garlic powder, cumin ad cinnamon. Heat oil in wok or skillet and stir fry over high heat until meat is about half done. Toss in the onion, bell pepper and Chipotle pepper and cook stirring constantly until until onion soften or meat is cooked.

*You can buy Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce in any Mexican food store and most big groceries. For this recipe, although you will be buying the peppers and the sauce you will only need the peppers.
